#1 Hummus Sandwich

  • 2 slices of whole-grain bread (toasted optional)
  • 2 tablespoons of hummus
  • 1 small piece of cheese
  • 2-3 slices of cucumber

The preparation is pretty easy and fast. Take the two pieces of bread and feel free to toast them if you prefer them that way. They are tasty either way.

Then you need to add the hummus and spread it over the two pieces. Add the cucumber slices and cheese. Once it’s ready, just put it in your kid’s bento box and their lunch is ready.

#2 Peanut Butter Banana Wrap

How to Make the Wrap

Take your tortilla and spread the peanut butter evenly. Then you need to add the honey, the banana, and the chopped walnuts.

#3 Egg Burrito     

The way you prepare the egg for this recipe is up to you and your child’s preference. The quickest way to use eggs is to hard-boil 2 eggs the night before.

However, you can make them however you like.


  • 2 hard-boiled eggs
  • 1 tortilla wrap
  • 1 small diced tomato
  • 1 piece of cheese

Note - you can add any type of vegetables you like. (optional)

How to Make the Burrito

Take the eggs and slice them. Then, you simply take the tortilla and add all the ingredients including the eggs, diced tomato, and cheese.

How to Make the Sandwich

Take a big bowl and add the tuna and mayo. Make sure you mix the ingredients well.

Once you get a well-combined mixture, feel free to add some lemon juice. Then you can add salt and black pepper to taste.

Take the slices of bread and spread the tuna mixture evenly. Add tomato slices and some arugula if you want. Bon appetite!

#5 Quinoa Pasta Salad

You only need 15 minutes to prepare this tasty and filling salad. You’ll be surprised how much your kids will love this salad, but the secret ingredient is cheese.


  • One cup of pasta
  • 5 tablespoons of quinoa
  • Some lettuce
  • 1 small diced tomato
  • 1 small cucumber
  • 2 pieces of white cheese
  • 1 piece of bread (optional)

How to Make This Salad

You need 2 small pots, one for the quinoa and the other one for the pasta.  Put the quinoa and the pasta in a separate pot and let them boil for around 15 minutes.

In the meantime, make sure you cut the lettuce, tomato, and cucumber in small pieces. Also, if you choose to use bread in the salad, it’s best if you cut it into small cubes. Put everything into your bento box.

Once the quinoa and pasta are cooked, let them cool for a while and add them into the bento box with the other ingredients. Last but not least, add the cheese. Add black pepper, salt, and some olive oil to taste.
